Key Responsibilities

• Perform 2-3 all day theatre activity per week in Foot and Ankle surgery, including sinus tarsi implant application, percutaneous bunion surgery, arthroscopic fusions, complex osteotomies and joint replacements.
• Attend meetings of the Heart of England Foot and Ankle Society.
• Organise bimonthly problem case meetings.
• Provide teaching for medical students.
• Undertake research and develop scholarly activities.
• Participate in elective and paediatric foot & ankle surgery as per attachments discussed at interview.

Qualifications & Training

• Grounding in Foot and Ankle surgery with FRCS or equivalent.
• Completed UK training program with CCT or equivalent international training programme.
• Willingness to undertake specialist training within the Trust.
