Our very busy Oncology department is offering the opportunity for an experienced Band 2 clerical support assistant to provide support to our highly cohesive team for 37.5 hours per week, worked over 5 days. Please note previous applicants need not apply.
The successful applicant will be a diligent and organised worker, with the ability to be flexible within a small team and at times work alone, managing their own workload and using their own initiative. Candidates are required to be confident in liaising with people at all levels, as well as communicating sensitive information with an understanding of patient confidentiality, adhering to all NHS policies and procedures. Previous experience working within the NHS and knowledge of the hospital PAS system is essential to this role.
