At the Royal Orthopaedic NHS Foundation Trust, we are responding to the increasing complexity of the health and care system and the urgent need to strengthen our digital infrastructure. As part of this, we are implementing a unified Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system, transforming the way we deliver care across the Trust. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead and support core workstreams within this transformational programme.

You will play a pivotal role in managing the development of clinical pathways and service redesign in line with our programme plan, ensuring that our digital systems deliver tangible benefits for patients and staff alike. Our priority ‘enabler’ workstreams are critical to the successful deployment of the EPR, shaping the Trust’s future organisational infrastructure and digital capability.

In this role, you will manage large-scale, sustainable change as we move away from outdated, paper-based clinical and non-clinical processes, embedding innovation and efficiency across the Trust. We are looking for a proactive, organised, and collaborative professional with experience in programme or project management within a healthcare environment. This is a unique opportunity to lead a digital transformation that will have a lasting impact on patient care and service delivery at the Royal Orthopaedic NHS Foundation Trust.

The post holder will work closely with the other workstream leads, leading the implementation of their own workstream to successfully implement the EPR across the organisation. The EPR Programme involves significant organisational change management and may require the solving of complex technical issues to enable the transformation, clinical and administrative processes. In addition, the post holder may have line management responsibility for workstream staff.

We employ people of difference and are committed to growing an inclusive culture, where difference is celebrated, and people feel able to bring their whole and authentic self to work. We are a Disability Confident Leader and offer a range of inclusive, family friendly and flexible working arrangements and policies, to support our people in the workplace. Flexible working requests will be considered.

The Trust is committed to the Disability Confident Interview Scheme and will offer an interview to disabled applicants who meet the minimum criteria for a vacancy and consider them on their abilities. If you have a disability and need any support with your application or require any reasonable adjustments to be implemented please do get in touch with the Recruiting Manager for this position so that the team can support you.
