Your tasks
- Deliver programmes on time, on budget and to specification ensuring programmes are correctly planned, resourced and executed.
- Ensure that comprehensive plans and technical documentation are produced that enable the planned delivery of milestones whilst interfacing with the customers schedule.
- Manage customer & supplier relationships maintaining a proactive ‘no surprises’ approach.
- Proactive stakeholder management within Rohde & Schwarz to effectively manage internal dependencies / deliverables.
- Creating and managing the programme budget.
- Management and communication of programme risk.
- Project Management & Resource planning. (MS Project)
- Contract Management incl Change Management.
- Conduct regular project performance reviews to demonstrate project performance in a clear and concise manner.
- Ensure alignment of 3rd party sub-system elements, coordinating activities appropriately.
- Responsible for the delivery of schedule, cost & risk elements for bids and proposals.
- Collaborate with GER HQ-/ UK- Sales, the customer and Engineering teams to support system and product development roadmaps, ensuring UK interests are represented appropriately.
Your Qualifications
- A bright and inquisitive mind, who wishes to challenge the status quo, and propose new and novel solutions in order to make a difference.
- The ability to work with customers to develop great solutions to their complex problems.
- Programme Management skills and proven track records of delivery complex high value defence programmes.
- Association of Project Management Practitioner Qualification or similar project management certification.
- Excellent general written and verbal communications skills.
- Must be capable of gaining National Security Vetting – SC clearance.
Desirable
- Must be capable of gaining National Security Vetting – DV clearance.

Travel
This would be a remote position with the following travel expectations:
- Glasgow for 3 day visit, 2 weeks per month.
- Fleet for 2 day visit once per month for first 6 months, thereafter 2 day visit every other month.
- Munich for 2 day visit every other month.
