With a growing product portfolio and customer base, we are looking for a talented and enthusiastic application engineer that will thrive in a busy sales environment. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in supporting our sales team across a European region to achieve ambitious revenue growth objectives. You must be self‑motivated, have good interpersonal skills, be comfortable presenting and discussing our technical solutions.

Your tasks

  • Responsible for technical support, both pre and post sales.
  • Cover the test and measurement product portfolio across high‑speed digital design, power electronics and signal integrity.
  • Act as the main point of contact for internal and external customers, providing assistance via telephone, email and on‑site visits.
  • In pre‑sales, identify and guide customers to the correct solution through technical qualification, delivering focused presentations and demonstrations.
  • In post‑sales, provide timely support, instrument familiarisation, hands‑on training and optimisation of purchased test solutions.

Qualifications

  • HNC or Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
  • Practical working knowledge of the embedded systems and power electronics industry.
  • Experience using Oscilloscopes, probes and other T&M devices and understanding of their architecture.
  • Knowledge of signal integrity challenges and applications in high‑speed serial or embedded systems (jitter, clock/data recovery, eye diagrams, etc.).
  • Knowledge of serial data interfaces such as Ethernet, PCIe, DDR, Automotive Ethernet, JESD, etc.
  • Knowledge and understanding of power designs, power converters and their testing needs.
  • Experience in digital, DC or RF technologies, applications and associated regulations/standards.
  • Experience in a technical, high quality and customer service driven sales environment.
  • Willingness to appear in videos and social media supporting our oscilloscopes, probes and accessories.
  • Ability and willingness to travel across Europe for training courses and customer support.
  • Excellent customer facing and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • UK National, due to the security requirements / nature of the role.
  • Full and clean driving license.
