About the Role
We are searching for a Part‑time Sales Advisor on a 20‑hour contract to join our store in Henley. This role is part of our retail team and involves providing high‑quality customer service, maintaining the shop environment, and assisting customers with product information and advice.
Location: Henley. Salary: National Minimum Wage.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the stockrooms are maintained to a high standard, and also that the shop is clean, neat and tidy at all times.
- Be capable of clear and concise written and verbal communication.
- Be an excellent timekeeper.
- Have full awareness of security issues (e.g. stock loss prevention).
- Give advice and suggestions where necessary.
- Engage with the customer and make them feel welcome.
Requirements
- Previous retail experience preferred but not essential.
- Good selling skills.
- Well presented.
- Interest in the outdoors preferred but not essential.
- Flexible.
- IT literate.
- Friendly and outgoing personality.
- Approachable.
