We are recruiting an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial ownership of one major project at a time (typical value: £10m), focused specifically on care homes and residential care facilities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an autonomous environment while being part of a close-knit team.
The Role:
- Commercial lead on £10m+ care home/residential projects
- Oversee subcontractor procurement, valuations, change management, and final accounts
- Use COINS to manage financial tracking and reporting
- Collaborate with project teams, clients, and senior management
- Contribute to mentoring junior QS staff
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Senior QS capacity
- Proven background managing care/residential home projects
- Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
- Proficient in COINS software
- Must live within a commutable distance to Southampton
