Your experience
You will ideally have experience selling building materials, lintels, brickwork sundries or similar construction products. Experience working with or selling into volume housebuilders would put you in a strong position. You will understand how buyers work and how to build lasting relationships with them. If you already have connections with companies such as Persimmon Homes, Bellway or other national and regional housebuilders, that would be a real advantage. Experience as a Sales Executive, Internal Sales Executive, Account Manager, Business Development Executive or Builders Merchant Sales professional would all be relevant.
What you will be doing with your experience
You will be joining an established sales team where your focus will be developing relationships with buyers across the housebuilding sector. Your time will be spent speaking with customers over the phone, keeping in touch by email, using LinkedIn to create opportunities and attending meetings when needed. You will be working with an existing customer base that already includes well known regional and national housebuilders, while also identifying new opportunities to grow sales. This is a role where your ability to build trust and maintain strong relationships will make a real difference.
The package includes a salary of around £40,000 to £50,000 including car allowance, an annual bonus and the opportunity to join the business immediately.
