We are looking for an experienced and reliable Tape and Jointer, with the potential for further work for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of tape and jointing to a high standard, ensuring walls and ceilings are finished and prepared for decoration. You will be working alongside site management and other trades to maintain programme deadlines while delivering quality workmanship throughout the project. This role would suit someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail, and can work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. We are looking for someone who is dependable, hard-working, punctual, and able to maintain high standards in a busy site environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out all tape and jointing works on plasterboard walls and ceilings
  • Applying tape, jointing compounds and fillers
  • Sanding, feathering and finishing surfaces ready for painting and decorating
  • Repairing and snagging any imperfections to achieve a high-quality finish
  • Working safely and following all site health and safety procedures
  • Coordinating with other trades and site management to ensure works are completed on schedule
  • Keeping work areas clean, organised and safe at all times
