We are seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Construction to oversee a complex multi-phase project within a manufacturing environment in Irlam, Manchester. The project involves the subdivision of an operational warehouse facility into two separate manufacturing units for Tenmat / Diamorph, requiring close coordination with the client, contractors, engineers, and Principal Designers throughout all phases of delivery.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and safety-focused Site Manager with experience managing works in live industrial environments, including machinery relocations, temporary works, structural construction, and industrial services modifications.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- NEBOSH or IOSH Qualification
- Fork Lift Truck Licence (Counterbalance / Unicorn)
- LOLER Experience (NPORS N019, CPD, RoSPA Accredited or equivalent)
- Experience with lifting operations, lifting plans and crane lifts
- Strong understanding of permit-to-work systems, lock-off procedures and isolation protocols
Project Overview
The project will be done over 3 phases from enabling works through to construction of office and meeting rooms. A lot of the scope of works will include the below:
- Machinery isolations and relocations
- Mechanical engineering pipework alterations
- Site-wide HV electrical shutdown
- LV panel modifications
- Lock-off, isolation permits and safe systems of work management
- Demolition of existing single-storey blockwork structure
- Construction of two new single-storey blockwork structures
- Sprinkler system modifications
- Industrial services alterations including water, gas, compressed air, electrical services
- Coordination with client and contractor Principal Designers
- Construction of a two-storey blockwork office facility
- Cladding removal and installation
- Industrial roofing works

- Day-to-day site management and coordination of all subcontractors
