You are an Interior Designer who enjoys creating workplaces that look great and work brilliantly for the people using them. You like taking ownership of projects, building relationships with clients and seeing your ideas come to life from the first conversation through to completion.

Your experience

  • You will have experience working on commercial workplace fit out projects and be confident managing small to medium sized Interior Design projects through every stage of the design process.
  • You will hold a degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or a related subject.
  • You will be comfortable producing creative design concepts, presenting ideas to clients and preparing detailed technical drawing packages for tender and construction.
  • You will be experienced using AutoCAD and SketchUp. Experience with Enscape would be an advantage, along with Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign and Photoshop. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is also important.
  • You will be organised, proactive and confident managing several projects at the same time while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

What you will be doing with your experience

  • You will lead workplace Interior Design projects from concept through to completion, creating inspiring commercial spaces that meet both client expectations and practical requirements.
  • You will produce presentation material, technical drawings and design documentation while working closely with contractors, consultants, suppliers and manufacturers to keep projects moving smoothly.
  • You will attend client meetings and site visits, making sure the original design vision is delivered throughout the project.
  • You will work alongside an experienced design team, sharing ideas, solving problems and delivering high quality commercial interior fit out projects across a varied portfolio.

The salary for this Mid Weight Interior Designer position is £30,000 to £35,000 depending on experience.
