We are looking for a working Site Foreman / Site Manager to oversee a 6-week town hall refurbishment project in Chippenham. The ideal candidate will either be from a carpentry trade background or multi-trade, with solid experience in general refurbishment, and be comfortable working hands-on as well as managing the day-to-day site activities.
The works will include:
- Stripping out existing areas and finishes
- Removing existing bathroom/toilet tiles
- Reboarding walls and ceilings
- Dry lining and boxing in
- Installing White Rock wall panels
- Fitting fixtures and fittings
- General joinery/carpentry and refurbishment works
- Coordinating and overseeing other trades on site
- Maintaining a safe, tidy and well-organised working environment
The ideal candidate:
- Has previous experience as a Working Site Foreman, Site Manager or Supervisor
- Ideally has a joinery/carpentry or multi-trade background
- Is confident working hands-on and leading the refurbishment works
- Has experience with strip-out, reboarding, dry lining and general fit-out
- Can coordinate other trades and keep the project moving to programme
- Takes pride in delivering a high standard of workmanship
- Holds the relevant site qualifications/tickets for the role
- Must have SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Asbestos and Fire Marshal
