About us:
RCL specialise in the civil and structural design of electricity substation asset build and refurbishment, and are involved in projects ranging from new build to modifications of existing sites from concept to completion. We also produce design and detailing works for various other sectors and clients involving a variety of schemes from steel framed structures, foundations, infrastructure and works within the water treatment industry. Our wide range of clients ensure a consistent work load on a variety of interesting and sometimes complex projects.
We are seeking a Junior CAD Technician to join our team to support our busy drawing office.
The role would involve:
- Production of accurate and detailed drawings in AutoCAD
- Follow client requirements and specifications to deliver compliant design solutions within the agreed timeframe, costs and quality standards
- Produce specifications, schedules and other documentation in accordance with requirements
We are looking for someone with the following attributes:
- Has knowledge of AutoCAD software ideally detailing steel, concrete & reinforced concrete
- Has solid attention to detail
- Can problem solve and make decisions
- Utilises appropriate technology in the development and delivery of your work
- Attends training and develops relevant skills, knowledge and experience
