Responsibilities:
- Bake a variety of breads, including sourdough, focaccias, baguettes, speciality loaves etc.
- Scale and mould a variety of doughs whilst working within a team.
- Ensure all products meet high-quality standards and are prepared in line with daily orders.
- Follow precise baking techniques to maintain consistency and excellence in every batch.
- Execute daily production tasks efficiently, meeting deadlines and output targets.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth and efficient bakery operations.
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly handled.
- Adhere to all food hygiene and safety regulations in accordance with UK legislation and company policies.
- Follow best practices for food handling, storage, and sanitation to ensure product integrity.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an artisan baker or in a similar role for at least 2 years.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and a passion for high-quality ingredients.
- Ability to work very early mornings.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
