From attaining the enquiry, through technical support, RFQs, tenders, sales order process and aftersales support.
The Senior Operations Engineer will deliver the best possible customer service and technical support.
A key part of this role will be the interaction with, and support from other business functions to achieve this purpose.
- Your Core Responsibilities and Tasks
- Interpret client technical information.
- Compile detailed responses to technical enquiries for clients. Present complex information in a manner that is most appropriate for the audience.
- Recommend appropriate products based on specific client applications.
- When required provide technical support to clients at their offices, at their worksite, or at an offshore location.
- Liaise with Technical, Logistics, Procurement and Manufacturing to ensure client requirements are met.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements / Product Stewardship.
- Ensure that products are delivered on time.
If local supply is necessary, this role would oversee and facilitate this entire process, working with international agents or distributors as necessary.
- What We’re Looking For
- Degree educated in a Science or Engineering discipline. Proven experience in a similar role will also be considered.
- Knowledge of oilfield chemistry and microbiology would be advantageous.
- Excellent verbal, written, communication & interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple enquiries and deadlines.
- Ability to interpret technical information and prepare detailed client responses. What We Can Offer
