The Role Our client, a well-established food manufacturing business, is looking for a QA Technician to join its Quality team in Wigan.
This is an on-site Quality Assurance role working rotating shifts and supporting the QA Supervisor across the manufacturing operation.
As QA Technician, you will help ensure products meet approved customer specifications, food safety standards and legal requirements.
You will work closely with production and other departments to maintain quality, food safety, hygiene and compliance, while supporting a positive culture of continuous improvement.
What you will do You will complete and maintain accurate quality records, carry out the QA Matrix within agreed timescales and ensure quality and food safety systems are followed and fully documented.
You will help maintain compliance with HACCP, BRC Global Food Safety standards, FSA requirements and internal procedures.
The QA Technician will support root-cause analysis and corrective action for customer complaints and non-conforming products.
This includes monitoring trends, helping close investigations on time and communicating actions to the relevant teams.
