Roehampton Gate School and Putney Vale Campus are recruiting for a Speech and Language Therapist to join our Therapy team. We are looking for enthusiastic, caring, and passionate people to become an integral part of our therapy team. The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary team and will work closely with other Speech and Language Therapists and professionals providing support to students; reporting to the Therapy Manager. The successful candidate will be registered and hold a BSc Speech and Language Therapy or profession-specific equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the therapy team and other professionals to provide Speech and Language Therapy support to students, including those in a special needs environment.
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to care plans and reporting to the Therapy Manager.
  • Demonstrate values, transferable skills, and commitment to ongoing training and career progression.

Qualifications

  • Registered as a Speech and Language Therapist with a BSc in Speech and Language Therapy or an equivalent qualification.

About the Employer

Roehampton Gate School is a purpose-built day school for young people with autistic spectrum disorders. It is situated on Priory Lane. The building accommodates up to 70 young people with autistic spectrum disorders and includes specialist rooms and spaces for information technology, art, food technology, science, music, and therapy.

Aspris Children's Services is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All applicants must be willing to undergo safeguarding screening appropriate to the post (including DBS checks) and provide at least 2 references covering the last 3 years. References may be requested prior to interview for roles within our schools.
