Working with the close support of our Chief Operating Officer and our Regional Director, we are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and talented Head Teacher; someone with the commitment and strategic vision to build a school which can achieve the very best for our young people. We are looking for an outstanding relationship builder, with the knowledge of how to inspire exceptional performance and maintain a positive and enthusiastic learning environment for pupils and colleagues alike.
You will create and lead the vision of the curriculum and education programmes, creating an inclusive culture in line with the Aspris values. Roehampton Gate School is a purpose-built day school for young people with autistic spectrum disorders. It is situated on Priory Lane. The spacious and modern building has been specifically designed to accommodate up to 70 young people with autistic spectrum disorders. The classrooms are set up for specialist subjects including information technology, art, food technology, science and music, together with exclusive sensory and therapy rooms/suites.
We have recently opened our Putney Vale site, a dedicated post‑16‑19 provision located in a brand‑new, purpose‑designed building in Putney Vale. This provision offers a fantastic range of opportunities, including both academic and vocational qualifications, as well as a variety of post‑16 courses. These are complemented by enriching experiences such as volunteering, enterprise projects, and preparation for adulthood. Our Post‑16 site in Putney Vale focuses on vocational training, life skills, and developing independence to help prepare students for adulthood.

The Headteacher will provide strong, strategic leadership for Roehampton Gate School, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and high‑quality learning environment for pupils with special educational needs. The role includes leading and developing staff, maintaining high standards of teaching and learning, and ensuring pupils achieve positive outcomes both academically and personally. The Headteacher will oversee safeguarding, curriculum development, and school improvement, while building strong partnerships with families, external professionals, and the wider community.
The successful candidate will ensure the school meets all statutory and regulatory requirements, including those set by Ofsted, and will champion opportunities that support pupils' independence and preparation for adulthood.
