We are seeking to appoint a Finance Director to provide financial advice, oversee the day-to-day financial management and control of the School and provide financial support to its trading company. The post holder will line manage the Finance Team and be responsible for all financial reporting and planning including preparation of the Statutory Report and Accounts, external audit and compliance.
The successful candidate will have a Professional Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) and strong technical and commercial knowledge and strong knowledge of VAT/tax. Previous experience working in an independent school and of financial modelling software would be an advantage.
