This is an exciting and challenging whole school role which would suit a candidate with experience of pastoral leadership. This is a residential role and accommodation suitable for a family will be provided. The Deputy Head: Pastoral is a key member of the Senior Team, and this is a great opportunity for a highly qualified and experienced individual to take responsibility for leading the School’s pastoral strategies to ensure the progress and welfare of every pupil. This role includes the role of Designated Safeguarding Lead.

The School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions on a self-declaration form in advance of attending an interview (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
