Hours: Full-Time position available with varied shift patterns, based on 5 days out of 7, including weekend work.

About the role

The Resort has a number of bedrooms including suites, deluxe and superior rooms. As a Linen Porter, you will join a dedicated hard‑working team and ensure all hotel accommodation is clean and tidy and ready for our guests. This is a physical role, required to use and move linen trollies through corridors and lift areas. The successful applicant will have a hard‑working attitude, enjoy working as part of a team, and have a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and service the Resort as directed by Housekeeping Supervisor or Managers.
  • Deliver clean linen to the bedrooms.
  • Remove all used linen from bedrooms and bring it to the laundry department.
  • Stock linen cupboards.
  • Report any maintenance issues directly to the Housekeeping and Laundry Manager.
  • Receive housekeeping deliveries and put them away into the appropriate stores.
  • Comply with health, safety, hygiene, fire and security regulations and procedures of the hotel and ensure others are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Carry out any other duties as requested by Department heads or Management.
