We started as a pop-up in 2019 and never looked back. Now we’re an award-winning restaurant in St James’s Market, part of a group with B Corp certification, a Michelin Bib Gourmand, and 1M+ YouTube subscribers. Our style? Bold, seasonal cooking with a zero-waste mindset – from nose-to-tail butchery to root-to-stem veg. We’re ambitious, creative, and serious about sustainability – but we keep the vibe fun, fast-paced, and full of energy. We’ve been named Sustainable Restaurant of the Year, raised thousands for charity, and built a loyal community of guests and staff. At Fallow, you don’t just work in hospitality – you help shape the future of it.
Fallow was founded by three individuals in May 2019, two chefs Jack Croft and William Murray, and career hospitality entrepreneur James Robson. The essence of this combination makes up much of Fallows DNA, where conscious culinary creativity meets hospitality experience and passion. Fallow’s permanent home in St James’s market was established in November 2021 and has since attracted a string of awards including both the Marie Claire and GQ ‘sustainable restaurant of the year’ and the Caterer award for ‘best new restaurant’.
