Conscious & creative dining in the heart of Wood Wharf from the trio behind Fallow restaurant. Named after native deer of the British Isles, Roe will follow the same nose-to-tail and root-to-stem ethos as its critically acclaimed sister restaurant, Fallow St James’s. The extensive a la carte menu will be divided into nibbles and flatbreads, skewers, and grilled options, with larger plates and sides also available. As well as championing modest, British ingredients, Roe’s dishes will showcase underused and underappreciated produce.
As a Demi Chef de Partie at Roe, you will support the smooth running of a designated section of the kitchen, working alongside our experienced chefs to deliver dishes of the highest quality. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in one of London’s most innovative, sustainability‑focused restaurants, where seasonality and creativity shape everything we do.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and cooking of dishes within your section, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Work under the guidance of your Chef de Partie to maintain high culinary standards.
- Support with stock rotation, storage, and ingredient ordering in line with purchasing guidelines.
- Keep your section clean, organised, and efficient at all times.
- Collaborate with the wider kitchen team to deliver a seamless dining experience.
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards are upheld.
About you:
- Experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or strong background as a Commis Chef in a high‑quality, fast‑paced kitchen.
