Senior Manager , you will work closely with the General Manager to ensure the smooth daily running of the restaurant, maintaining high service standards and a cohesive, driven team.

You’ll be instrumental in mentoring staff, driving operational consistency, and delivering on both financial and experiential goals.

This is a hands‑on leadership role with real opportunity for growth within a dynamic, progressive hospitality business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager in all aspects of day-to-day operations.
  • Lead and motivate the front‑of‑house team, fostering a positive, collaborative working environment.
  • Maintain high standards of guest service, ensuring memorable and seamless dining experiences.
  • Assist in staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
  • Monitor and improve operational processes to ensure efficiency and service excellence.
  • Oversee floor operations during service, ensuring smooth communication between front and back of house.
  • Contribute to financial performance through cost control, upselling strategies, and team productivity.
  • Champion Roe’s ethos of sustainability, seasonality, and innovation in every aspect of the operation.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulations.

About You

  • Previous experience as an Assistant General Manager or Restaurant Manager in a high-volume, quality‑driven restaurant.
  • A natural leader with excellent communication and team development skills.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, guest service, and financial KPIs.
  • Calm under pressure, with great attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
  • Passionate about food, sustainability, and forward‑thinking hospitality.
  • Energetic, hands‑on, and always leading by example.
  • Ambitious and eager to grow within a fast‑evolving company.
