About the Role
We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic and highly motivated person to provide city‑wide outreach support, advice and guidance to school nurseries and Early Years teams, offering specialist guidance to help children with emerging SEND needs.
Responsibilities
- Observations and assessments
- Working with the child’s key worker and SENCO
- Creating joint plans with clear next steps
- Modelling inclusive strategies
- Providing guidance to help children make progress
- Delivering specialist training sessions
- Providing practical strategies for inclusion
- Strengthening inclusive practice through training, modelling, and collaborative working with staff and services
Qualifications
The post requires a person who has a sound knowledge of child development, excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
