Wir bieten eine spannende Möglichkeit für einen Senior Manager, das Wachstum im Bereich der Steuerberatung in Großbritannien zu leiten. Als erfahrener Steuerberater (m/w/d) überwachen Sie die Expertenberatung internationaler Kunden zu einer Vielzahl von Themen im Bereich der indirekten Steuern und übernehmen eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Gestaltung der Zukunft unseres Steuersektors.
Unser britisches Team arbeitet eng mit dem umfangreichen internationalen Netzwerk der Firma zusammen, das über 100 Büros und 50 Länder umfasst und insgesamt 5.500 Mitarbeiter einschließt. Sie werden eine zentrale Rolle einnehmen und unseren Kunden von der Strategie bis zur Umsetzung dabei helfen, ihre komplexen Herausforderungen zu bewältigen.
- Enge Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Berufsgruppen (Buchhalter und Anwälte, sowohl im Vereinigten Königreich als auch international)
- Leitung von steuerlichen Beratungsdienstleistungen für die internationale Kundschaft in Bezug auf ihre kommerziellen Aktivitäten und Investitionen im Vereinigten Königreich
- Bereitstellung innovativer Lösungen und Ratschläge, die auf die kommerziellen Bedürfnisse unserer Kunden ausgerichtet sind
- Sie sind laufend über alle Gesetzgebungen und praktische Änderungen im Bereich der indirekten Steuergesetzgebung informiert
- Unterstützung beim Aufbau eines Teams für indirekte Steuern im Vereinigten Königreich sowie die Führung und Entwicklung Anderer im Team
- Sie sind an unserem Hauptstandort in Birmingham tätig, betreuen und leiten zusätzlich regelmäßig Projekte an unserem Standort in London
Erforderliche Qualifikationen:
- Steuerberater mit Zulassung (CTA), Wirtschaftsprüfer (ACCA, ICAEW, ICAS) oder gleichwertige internationale Qualifikation (Rechtsanwalt/Steueranwalt)
- Mindestens 5 Jahre Erfahrung als Steuerberater, entweder in einem Unternehmen, einer Rechtsanwaltskanzlei, einer Unternehmensberatung oder einer Beratungsgesellschaft, davon mindestens 1 Jahr in der Teamleitung
- Ausgezeichnete technische und analytische Fähigkeiten im Bereich der Transaktionssteuern
- Starke Teamfähigkeiten und die Motivation, interne und externe Verbindungen und Netzwerke aufzubauen, sowohl im Vereinigten Königreich als auch international
- Erfahrung mit deutschen internationalen Steuervorschriften ist von Vorteil – insbesondere im Umgang mit dem Außensteuergesetz
- Hervorragende organisatorische und Zeitmanagementfähigkeiten zur Bewältigung mehrerer Fristen sowie ausgezeichnete zwischenmenschliche Kommunikationsstärke
- Bereitschaft gelegentlich zu einigen Kernbüros in Deutschland zu reisen, um unser Netzwerk weiter aufzubauen
