The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our busy Operations team and ensure smooth end-to-end processes across order fulfilment, warehousing, compliance and customer support. In this role, you'll oversee team performance, drive process improvements, manage relationships with warehouses, and act as the key point of escalation for urgent issues. You'll collaborate closely with Sales, Web, Credit Control, and IT teams on projects such as EDI integration, seasonal launches, and B2B requirements, while providing insightful reporting to support business decision-making. This is a hands-on leadership role with scope to develop the team, streamline operations, and make a real impact on the wider business. Please note we work 4 days a week from our office in W11 and Fridays from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the Operations team, assessing workloads and allocating customers
- Managing and developing a team, having weekly catch ups, development plans, and supporting with regular training
- Owning the end-to-end operational process and answering follow-up queries
- Maintaining a strong relationship with warehouses and finding ways to improve current processes
- Updating warehouses of special B2B requirements i.e., kitting, reworking etc.
- Supervising Operations activities including fulfilment of orders, export paperwork, and application of compliance documentation
- Be the point of escalation for team with urgent issues or projects
- Work with Head of Operations on IT and Warehouse projects such as EDI integration
- In-depth collaboration with credit control to assist with account reconciliation
- Support the Ecommerce team with stock and order queries, finding ways to improve current processes to eliminate errors and web short shipments
- Create and improve reports to show open orders and invoices that will support decision making in the wider business
- Provide weekly updates on projects and outstanding issues in weekly manager's meeting
- Work collaboratively with the Sales teams and specific territories and ensure the team provides general overview on other accounts
- Oversee the planning and execution of seasonal launches and PR campaigns
- Help to drive S&OP process through post-activity evaluation by customer
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
- Previous experience at this level and of managing a team
- Use of SAP Business Central systems
- Excellent commercial awareness and knowledge
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

- Excellent prioritisation and time management skills
- Ability to use independent judgement and work autonomously
- Charismatic relationship builder
- Numerical and literacy skills; Able to demonstrate effective written communication and can make practical use of relevant management information
