The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our busy Operations team and ensure smooth end-to-end processes across order fulfilment, warehousing, compliance and customer support. In this role, you'll oversee team performance, drive process improvements, manage relationships with warehouses, and act as the key point of escalation for urgent issues. You'll collaborate closely with Sales, Web, Credit Control, and IT teams on projects such as EDI integration, seasonal launches, and B2B requirements, while providing insightful reporting to support business decision-making. This is a hands-on leadership role with scope to develop the team, streamline operations, and make a real impact on the wider business. Please note we work 4 days a week from our office in W11 and Fridays from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the Operations team, assessing workloads and allocating customers
- Managing and developing a team, having weekly catch ups, development plans, and supporting with regular training
- Owning the end-to-end operational process and answering follow-up queries
- Maintaining a strong relationship with warehouses and finding ways to improve current processes
- Updating warehouses of special B2B requirements i.e., kitting, reworking etc.
- Supervising Operations activities including fulfilment of orders, export paperwork, and application of compliance documentation
- Be the point of escalation for the team with urgent issues or projects
- Work with Head of Operations on IT and Warehouse projects such as EDI integration
