The Opportunity
As Head of Digital, you will lead Rodial’s global digital strategy, accelerating ecommerce revenue through best-in-class performance marketing, affiliate marketing, influencer partnerships, CRM and customer acquisition. Working within a self-funded, family-owned luxury beauty business, you will combine strategic thinking with exceptional execution to deliver measurable commercial growth across all digital channels. Every marketing investment must contribute to profitable growth, ensuring customer acquisition is balanced with strong commercial returns. You will own the global digital marketing budget and be responsible for delivering profitable customer acquisition, maximising customer lifetime value and ensuring every marketing investment delivers measurable return while supporting the long-term profitability of the business. A dynamic, hands-on leader, you will be comfortable moving from high-level strategy to campaign execution. You thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, enjoy making data-led decisions and take ownership of delivering exceptional commercial results.

Key Responsibilities
- Digital Growth Strategy
- Own and deliver Rodial's global strategy aligned to ambitious ecommerce revenue and profitability targets
- Develop integrated customer acquisition plans across paid media, affiliate marketing, influence marketing and CRM
- Identify new commercial opportunities, platforms and partnerships to accelerate growth
- Drive a culture of continuous testing, optimisation and innovation
- Affiliate Marketing
- Develop and scale Rodial’s global affiliate programme
- Build strategic relationships with affiliate networks, publishers and creator commerce platforms
- Recruit new affiliate partners to drive customer acquisition and incremental revenue
- Monitor affiliate performance and maximise return on investment
- Influencer Marketing
- Develop Rodial’s influencer marketing strategy across the UK, US and international markets
- Manage influencer investment with clear commercial accountability
- Build long-term creator partnerships that deliver measurable sales growth
- Scale ambassador programmes, paid partnerships and gifting initiatives
- Measure influencer activity against revenue, customer acquisition and return on investment
- CRM & Customer Retention
- Lead the CRM strategy across email, SMS and customer lifecycle marketing
- Improve customer retention, repeat purchase and lifetime value
- Develop customer segmentation, automation and personalisation strategies
- Deliver best-in-class campaign planning and customer journeys
- Ecommerce Marketing
- Partner closely with the Head of Ecommerce to maximise website conversion and digital trading performance
- Optimise landing pages, merchandising, promotional campaigns and onsite customer journeys
- Support new product launches with commercially focused digital campaigns
- Ensure exceptional customer experience across every digital touchpoint
- Analytics & Commercial Performance
- Own the global digital marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of investment and measurable return
- Report on weekly and monthly trading performance against agreed KPIs
- Translate performance data into actionable recommendations and commercial decisions
- Build clear reporting dashboards and performance reviews across all digital channels
- Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing digital marketing team
- Set clear objectives, KPIs and accountability across internal teams and external agencies
- Foster a culture of pace, ownership, collaboration and commercial thinking
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with Ecommerce, Creative, Finance and Commercial teams
- Lead by example, remaining hands-on whenever required to deliver exceptional execution
GENERAL:
- Contribute to the overall commercial strategy and growth of Rodial
- Communicate digital performance and trading updates to senior leadership
- Carry out additional duties when reasonably requested and where necessary within the defined levels of responsibility and accountability of the role
- As a senior leader within an entrepreneurial, self-funded family business, drive change, challenge existing ways of working and continuously improve digital performance across the organisation
