The Opportunity
The Ecommerce Executive is responsible for ensuring that online sales and conversion opportunities are always maximised across the Nip+Fab website through analysis and insight to drive the business forward. The role assists in the day to day operational management of the Nip+Fab website, management of key third-party agencies and of the on-sight customer journey. This is a key role in the Ecommerce team, ensuring all digital activations and supporting processes are followed and delivered appropriately according to the relevant critical paths. A multidisciplinary role, the Ecommerce Executive also plays an important role in the continuous optimisation of the customer journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Website Management
- Responsible for supporting the Ecommerce Trading Manager with delivery of the marketing calendar in line with key deadlines. This includes launching new products and promotional activity on brand owned online channels, briefing and uploading onsite assets, setting up SKUs, promotional codes etc.
- Responsible for overseeing merchandising on site in line with stock movements, product performance, analytics and trends.
- Complete daily, weekly and monthly reports, with analysis of onsite activity as required.
- Identify and optimise trends in performance and suggest new ways to build additional revenue streams.
- Use Google Analytics and Shopify Plus reports to optimise product sales and customer experience.
- Highlight sales and conversion trends against forecast and previous performance.
- Execute the content plan and enhance the user experience in order to improve the customer journey.
- Support the Ecommerce Trading Manager with promotional activity planning, briefing relevant internal (Supply & Operations, Social Media and Design teams) and external teams (Warehouse, Developers) on promotional plans.
- Carry out regular competitive research.
- Digital Marketing
- Support the Ecommerce Trading Manager in planning and execution of automated and BAU email marketing campaigns including copywriting, briefing artwork, building and sending automated campaigns.
- Advising and executing strategy for the email channel and CRM.
- Affiliates – keep our affiliate database up to date with the latest offers. Affiliate publisher approval management. Providing suggestions for promotional activity and collaboration opportunities to grow the channel. Create and communicate exclusive affiliate offers to drive traffic. Ensure creative available to affiliates is kept up to date. Liaising with publishers to identify future tenancy opportunities.
- Prepare for and attend strategy meetings with third-party agencies or internal teams.
- Keep up to date with developments in ecommerce and the wider competitive landscape to ensure the brand is at the forefront of digital innovation.
- Identify opportunities for improved customer experience.
- Support with TikTok Shop strategy, overseeing the day to day running including the backend operations of the shop.
- Customer Experience
- Meet sales and conversion targets by the continuous optimisation of the website, working closely with the internal Ecommerce team and external development agency.
- Maintain regular communication with the Head of Customer Services and cross-functional teams in the business, including Warehouse Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, NPD, and our third-party warehouses to ensure we are providing the best possible customer experience.
- Being a key counterpart in the business for insight into customer experience and service; reporting and identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Help with day-to-day management of our loyalty programme.
- Operations
- Liaise with the Supply & Operations team to ensure stock levels across the site are always correct, including samples and GWPs.
- Produce line level forecasts for stock on web.
- System checks including ensuring transactions are being correctly processed.
- General
- Contribute to the overall business direction and strategy.
- Carry out additional duties when reasonably requested and where necessary within the defined levels of responsibility and accountability of the role.
- General support for the Ecommerce, Operations and Commercial teams where required. This may involve supporting customer services during peak times or provide support for the Head of Ecommerce on operational issues.
