Please note, we work 4 days a week in our offices in W11 and one day from home.

The Opportunity

Supporting in the successful and smooth running of all Supply Chain activities. Working collaboratively across the wider team to effectively meet timelines and ensure the most cost effective solutions are in place to meet our business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting in the purchasing of stock with global suppliers; working with the Supply Chain Manager to review required demand, assess material requirements and supplier MOQs.
  • Supporting in the negotiations of costs, MOQs and lead times.
  • Maintain and develop relationships, communicating daily with global contract manufacturers, suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers and 3PL providers.
  • Work closely with suppliers and contract manufacturers throughout the ordering process, from PO placement through to delivery. Request schedule updates, answering queries and resolving problems as required.
  • Use of the ERP system, Business Central, to maintain accuracy of order information, stock levels, product data, stock transfers and creation of SKU codes.
  • Manage an import shipping schedule: obtain quotes from freight forwarders, provide and/or complete necessary shipment documentation. Monitor shipment schedule ensuring successful delivery into contract manufacturers and 3PL locations.
  • Resolve the root-cause problems relating to production, logistics, imports and exports and customs clearance.
  • Verification and authorisation of supplier packing lists and invoices, working closely with Finance to resolve invoice discrepancies and provide input towards priority invoices.
  • Produce a weekly stock report, communicating current stock levels, stock cover, future inbounds, current and expected out of stocks.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager to review and identify opportunities for improved processes.
  • Support in the arranging of freight for all stock transfers between all 3PL locations.
  • Work closely with internal teams: NPD, Regulatory and Design throughout the ordering process, placing NPD orders and ensuring the timely supply of packaging artworks.

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Numerical and literacy skills; able to demonstrate effective written communication and can make practical use of provided information.
  • Intermediate IT skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
  • Use of ERP Systems.
  • Strong commercial awareness and knowledge.
  • Has demonstrated progression and or self-development in previous roles/education.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use independent judgement.
  • Superb organisational skills demonstrated through managing time effectively, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Team player able to work collaboratively for the good of the wider team.
