Responsibilities:
- Undertaking design work, inspections and construction site support on major infrastructure projects.
- Concept and feasibility studies for multidisciplinary design projects.
- Analysis and design using engineering software such as Tekla, IDEA StatiCA and TEDDS, and producing hand calculations.
- Preparation of calculations, CDM activities, Basis of Design and material specifications.
- Supporting senior structural engineers.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- Good technical design expertise using British and international standards and/or Eurocodes.
- A degree – BEng or MEng – and status as a Structural Engineer.
- Proven ability in preparing design and calculation documentation.
- Experience designing reinforced concrete and steel structures.
- Knowledge and use of BIM packages.
