Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking design work, inspections and construction site support on major infrastructure projects.
  • Concept and feasibility studies for multidisciplinary design projects.
  • Analysis and design using engineering software such as Tekla, IDEA StatiCA and TEDDS, and producing hand calculations.
  • Preparation of calculations, CDM activities, Basis of Design and material specifications.
  • Supporting senior structural engineers.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Good technical design expertise using British and international standards and/or Eurocodes.
  • A degree – BEng or MEng – and status as a Structural Engineer.
  • Proven ability in preparing design and calculation documentation.
  • Experience designing reinforced concrete and steel structures.
  • Knowledge and use of BIM packages.
