Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking technical drawing work in 2D and 3D for major infrastructure projects.
  • Producing reinforcement bending schedules for reinforced concrete.
  • Managing workload on numerous projects to ensure deadlines are met and client requirements are fulfilled.
  • Taking a lead role in larger schemes to plan work and delegate to other technicians within the Department.
  • Mentoring Junior Technicians.
  • Liaising with Clients and external design teams on a daily basis.
  • Contribute and take an active role in the improvement of Company and Drawing Office procedures.

Who you are:

  • Good all‑round technical drawing expertise using Revit and AutoCAD for all building materials.
  • Working closely with internal/external design teams.
  • Ability to be proactive.
  • Exceptional knowledge of civil and structural build details and construction interfaces.
  • Experience in detailing of structures in reinforced concrete and steelwork.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge and use of BIM packages such as Navisworks and ReCAP (not essential).
