Are you a Smart Meter Engineer who’s fed up with wasted time on site due to DCC issues, or are you bored waiting on hold for “Tech Support” to help you out? If so, we may have the job for you!
We are currently looking for Electricity Meter Engineers to help with servicing our mains isolator switch installations in our role as a SIP for local authorities and social housing organisations. The successful applicants will have relevant experience working as part of a team and have knowledge of various metering wiring systems.
The operative must have relevant DNO authorisations or equivalent EUSR accreditation. They should have relevant experience working with metering equipment and mains isolation switches. Three phase experience preferred, but not essential. A background in smart metering or DNO infrastructure installations would also be advantageous.
Applicants should have a driving licence as this is a mobile post. We have an ongoing training regime with the view to enhance all operatives' skillsets to further their suitability for the role.
In return for this, we will offer an hourly rate of £22 per hour (£45,760 pa) once the probationary period has been completed. The role includes 25 days holiday and a workplace pension. A van and all plant and equipment are supplied too.
