Role: Receptionist — Thatcham Dental

Hours: 34.30 hours per week

Responsibilities
- Providing an exceptional patient journey both in person and over the phone
- Managing the diaries and ensuring time is filled correctly
- Working with the team to understand the full range of NHS and Private treatment options available within the practice
- Completing relevant forms for NHS and private schemes within a specified timescale
- Taking payments and chasing outstanding patient debt
- Liaising with dental laboratories, supply companies and other organisations
Key skills and experience
- Ability to easily build rapport and maintain a high level of customer service
- Ability and passion to build knowledge of treatment options within the dental sector
- Passionate about driving practice success by seizing opportunities
- Ability to follow processes and work in a structured and organised way
- Comfortable working to practice KPIs (call answer rate, data capture and rebooking)
- IT skills with the ability to learn SOE software
- Positive, resilient, and composed under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent team player
