We are looking for a Management Accountant to join our Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your management accounting skills and experience in a fast paced healthcare business.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Post month end Accruals and Prepayments
  • Assist in preparation of monthly P&Ls for the business with variance analysis
  • Work with the management accounts team to improve processes to gain efficiencies where possible
  • Working with the rest of the management accounts team to ensure P&L information is collated and reviewed in a timely manner
  • Offer guidance and support to improve working practices aimed at strengthening the quality of data being used
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
  • Work alongside the Accounts Payable team to ensure that coding is correct at source
  • Be responsible for processing and reconciling company credit cards
  • Assist with daily banking and month end bank reconciliations
  • Post & maintain accounts receivable ledger
  • Ad-hoc tasks where necessary to ensure monthly P&Ls are accurate

What we’re looking for:

  • Part-qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA
  • Experience (either in practice or industry) with fixed assets
  • High attention to detail
  • Highly driven
  • Self‑motivated
  • Used to working in a cross‑functional environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both to financial and non‑financial audiences
  • An effective communicator both in writing and face to face
  • Confident and organised in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment
  • Good Microsoft knowledge, especially excel
