Role Description Dental Nurse – St Georges Dental, 19-21st George's Street, Chorley, PR7 2AA – 39 hours weekly.

  • 9 surgeries computerised using Dentally software.

  • Offering Ortho, Endo, Implants, Clear Aligners & Sedation.
  • 3‐minute walk to the bus and train station, 5‐minute drive to the M6 & M61.
  • Located in the centre of Chorley – a market town 2 days a week with shops, restaurants, bars & pubs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist dentists during a wide range of clinical procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment and materials.
  • Uphold high standards of infection control and surgery cleanliness.
  • Provide reassurance and support to patients throughout their visit.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and manage administrative tasks.
  • Promote and advise patients on oral health and dental care products.
  • Play an important role in creating a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for patients and the team.

Qualifications & Attributes:

  • Qualified and GDC‐registered Dental Nurse.
  • Confident and professional communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Comfortable working in a clinical environment, including procedures where you may see blood or surgical treatments.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • A caring, compassionate approach toward patients and colleagues.
  • A proactive attitude toward learning and professional development.
