We are looking for an experienced Acquisitions Transaction Controller to join our Business Development and Mergers & Acquisitions team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering our growth strategy by managing M&A and business development transactions from Heads of Terms through to completion.
Responsibilities
- Project managing M&A and Business Development transactions from Heads of Terms through to completion or conclusion
- Creating, owning and maintaining bespoke project plans, monitoring milestones, risks and dependencies
- Managing weekly meetings and internal RDP stakeholders to ensure project milestones, diligence checks and enquiries are on track
- Setting up and managing transaction data rooms in collaboration with external solicitors
- Coordinating financial and legal due diligence activity and tracking enquiries through to resolution
- Acting as the primary point of contact for sellers and their professional advisors
- Supporting NHS contract variations, CQC applications and other regulatory requirements linked to transactions
- Providing clear progress reporting to senior stakeholders and supporting post-completion handover to Integration
What We’re Looking For
- Experience supporting or managing M&A or Business Development transactions
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams to tight deadlines
- A solid understanding of due diligence processes, contracts and transaction governance
- Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and manage professional stakeholders
- Experience within healthcare, dental, NHS or regulated environments is desirable
