As a Receptionist you are at the heart of the practice. You are the first point of contact for every customer, welcoming them, understanding their needs, and ensuring a great experience. You will work collaboratively with the team, demonstrating efficiency, accuracy, and excellent communication skills both in person and over the phone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide an exceptional patient journey both in person and over the phone
  • Manage the diaries and ensure appointments are scheduled correctly
  • Work with the team to understand the full range of NHS and private treatment options available within the practice
  • Complete relevant forms for NHS and private schemes within a specified time‑frame
  • Take payments and chase outstanding patient debt
  • Liaise with dental laboratories, supply companies and other organisations

  • Ability to build rapport and deliver high‑level customer service
