Qualified/Apprentice Dental Nurse – Oundle House Dental Practice, 5 West Street, Oundle, PE8 4EJ40. 40 Hours Per Week.

  • 3 surgeries on a 3‑level house, computerised with Dentaly software.
  • Practice uses Rotary Endo Machine, i Tero Scanner, Airflow, Digital X‑ray, Implant Motors.
  • Specialising in Facial Aesthetics, Invisalign, Surgical Extractions.
  • Staff longevity: 8‑year mentor, receptionist (3 years), 2 nurses (2 years).
  • Located near Peterborough Train Station (24 min bus ride) and Barnwell Country Park.

Role Overview

As a dental nurse, you will assist dentists during a wide range of clinical procedures, support chairside and play a vital role in delivering excellent patient experiences and driving the practice's success.

  • What You’ll Be Doing
  • Assist dentists during a wide range of clinical procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials.
  • Uphold high standards of infection control and surgery cleanliness.
  • Provide reassurance and support to patients throughout their visit.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and manage administrative tasks.
  • Promote and advise patients on oral health and dental care products.
  • Create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for patients and the team.

Skills and Attributes We’re Looking For

  • Qualified and GDC‑registered Dental Nurse.
  • Confident and professional communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Comfortable working in a clinical environment, including procedures where you may see blood or surgical treatments.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • A caring, compassionate approach towards patients and colleagues.
