Property Maintenance EngineerLocation: Field Based covering - South Region, including Buckinghamshire, Hampshire and London.We are seeking a skilled and motivated Property Maintenance Operative to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of maintenance tasks across various engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, plubming and general maintenance & repairs,across our estate of dental practices.This role will include daily travelling and occasional overnight stays, you must have a full & clean UK driving licence.
Key Responsibilities
- Preventative Maintenance
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on plant and machinery.
- Identify and rectify potential issues before they escal
- Implement a proactive maintenance schedule to minimize downtime.
- Reactive Maintenance
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and equipment failures.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Efficiently repair and restore equipment to full operational capacity.
- Fault Finding
- Use diagnostic tools and techniques to pinpoint the root cause of equipment malfunctions.
- Implement effective solutions to prevent recurring problems.
- Installation and Commissioning
- Install new equipment and machinery.
- Configure and test systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Compliance
- Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for improving maintenance processes and efficiency
- Propose innovative solutions to enhance equipment reliability
About You
Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and commitment to safety
Must hold a full UK driving licence.
