As a Receptionist you are at the heart of your practice. You are the first point of contact for every customer, welcoming them in, understanding how they are feeling, and making sure they have a great experience. You will know that first impressions count.
- Providing an exceptional patient journey both in person and over the phone.
- Managing the diaries and making sure that the time is filled correctly.
- Working with the team to understand the full range of NHS and Private treatment options available within the practice.
- Completing relevant forms for NHS and private schemes within a specified timescale.
- Taking payments and chasing outstanding patient debt.
- Liaising with dental laboratories, supply companies and other organisations.
You will work side by side with every team member and build trust through your efficiency, accuracy, and people skills. You will be a great communicator, able to talk clearly and calmly with every patient both in person and over the phone.
