We're a growing, Americana-inspired bakery brand creating fresh, handcrafted doughnuts loved by customers across the UK. We're looking for a Production Manager to lead the operation of our Central Production Unit, ensuring our doughnuts are produced efficiently, safely and to the high standards our customers expect.
Your responsibilities:
- Take overall responsibility for the operation of the Central Production Unit (CPU), ensuring the full production process is completed efficiently and to the required standards from start to finish.
- Maintain consistently high standards of food hygiene, food safety and health & safety throughout the production process, ensuring all relevant procedures and legislation are followed.
- Communicate any changes to daily production requirements clearly and effectively to the CPU team. Lead daily team briefings, delegate tasks and manage workloads to ensure production targets are achieved within agreed timescales.
- Develop and manage a four-weekly rota for the CPU team, ensuring staffing levels and resources are aligned with forecasted production requirements and business targets.
- Work closely with Retail Management to determine daily production requirements, using sales data, performance metrics and trading trends to accurately forecast demand.
- Act as the first point of contact for any production-related issues, taking ownership of problems and implementing effective solutions to minimise disruption and ensure production is completed on time.

- Able to use sales data and performance information to support production planning and forecast demand.
- Reliable, organised and able to take ownership of the day-to-day operation.
- Able to work collaboratively with Retail Management and the wider Rodeo team.
- Flexible and available to work across Monday to Sunday to meet production requirements.
Experience:
- Previous experience managing a production, bakery, kitchen or food manufacturing team is required.
- Experience in production planning, rota management and forecasting is preferred.
