ROLE CONTEXT

The craft layer of the platform makes everything an audience, partner, or guest sees look like a world-class operation. In elite-sport commercial engines, design isn't decoration: it's what makes a deck win or lose a partner and ensures the platform looks unified and premium.

PURPOSE

To create and maintain a premium visual identity across the platform ecosystem, ensuring every partner-facing, guest-facing and audience-facing asset reflects a world-class standard. To be the day-one creative engine that carries the established ROCKWOOL Racing visual system into the world across every surface, from social to the Tech Base to the pitch deck.

THE BREADTH OF THE ROLE

  • Brand execution: Deliver visual-identity implementation, asset development, campaign creative and event collateral on brand and on time.
  • Commercial support: Produce partnership proposals, sales presentations, reporting design and hospitality materials to a standard that lifts the proposition and improves conversion.
  • Content production: Create social graphics, digital assets, print materials and event branding for the channels Social & Comms publishes.
  • Brand custodianship: Apply and protect the visual identity system across all touchpoints and partner co-brands to maintain consistency.

Represents ROCKWOOL Racing, American Magic and the team's partners to the highest professional standard always, on-site, online and in private; the brand is judged by the conduct of the people who carry it. Operates with absolute discretion and confidentiality around commercial, sporting, partner and personal information; signs and honours NDA and data-handling obligations. Holds themselves to the same performance, accountability and substantiation standards as the athletes do: what they say, flags problems early, and never over-promises what cannot be delivered. No role is an island, and ego is left at the dock. Protects the brand's visual integrity under deadline pressure, never lets standards slip because something is urgent, because every asset represents the team.

This is a contractor engagement, with the clear intention to extend as the platform scales. The successful candidate operates as an independent contractor, responsible for their own tax and statutory obligations, and is engaged under a defined contract for services with agreed deliverables, standards, and notice terms. Design in live sport means fast turnarounds and real deadlines, proposals needed overnight, event content turned around in hours. The role rewards a designer who wants their work on a global stage and ownership of a premium brand.

Background

Graphic / brand design in sport, premium consumer or agency environments.

Discipline

Fast, high-quality production across digital, print and presentation, on a defined identity system.

Drive

Comfortable with rapid turnarounds, event deadlines and being the single creative engine in a lean team.
