Your Future Team:
Reporting into the National Specification Manager, you will be part of a team that is responsible for ensuring that ROCKWOOL products and systems are products of choice within the UK construction market.
What you will be doing:
- Building and maintaining sustainable working relationships with clients in keeping with ROCKWOOL’s core values
- Planning and prioritising personal technical sales activities and customer contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs, sales and profitability via the CRM database RockConnect
- Planning and managing personal business portfolio
- Working collaboratively with Area Sales Managers and Technical teams
- Providing information, literature and samples of ROCKWOOL products
- Presenting to both internal and external stakeholders
- Delivering CPD’s to customers as required to gain understanding and support for ROCKWOOL products
- Sharing knowledge and information of newly identified opportunities within the commercial team to develop profitable business
- Responding to and following up sales and technical enquiries
- Monitoring and reporting on market and competitor activities
- Maintaining a pipeline of ongoing projects via the CRM system RockConnect
What you bring:
- Experience supporting commercial activities in the building/construction industry, including specification selling
- Strong knowledge of current building regulations and ability to interpret technical drawings
- IT literate, confident with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Able to develop technical solutions to meet customer needs and proactively identify sales opportunities
- Effective, persuasive communicator with strong planning and organisational skills
