Project Procurement Manager
We are seeking a Project Procurement Manager to support our capacity expansion projects from a procurement perspective, being part of the Purchasing team within Group Sourcing & Purchasing (GSP). In this role travel is required to be on-site on the location of expansion and meet suppliers and stakeholders face-to-face.

Your future team:
As our Project Procurement Manager, you will support new build projects (both Green and Brown field projects) and major rebuild projects from an OPEX point of view. As our Project Procurement Manager you will be a member of the project organization of the specific project and report directly into the GSP Organisation, being a part of the Purchasing Management team.
What you will be doing:
Your main responsibility is to orchestra the procurement activities in alignment with the New Build projects. You will do this in close collaboration with Subject Matter Exprts (SMEs) within the GSP organization and have a key role coordinating activities and follow up on deliverables GSP is responsible for. Additionally, the role with have a close collaboration with the GSP management team, ensuring alignments on priorities.
Following tasks will be key within your responsibility area:
- Establish clear and transparent communication on procurement tasks between stakeholders across the ROCKWOOL Group and the GSP organization
- Align, prioritize and execute activities aligned with project management and stakeholders
- Ensuring governance according to Group / GSP standards and alignment with local legislation
- Introduce best practice as “the way of working” in all locations and projects
- Support the GSP organization to build up an optimal purchasing set-up to support local operation
- Obtain local market knowledge and reduce TCO where possible, utilizing all relevant optimization levers
- Development of Risk mitigation plans where appropriate
What you bring:
- Education on BSc. level (either within SCM, Engineering, Manufacturing or similar).
- Fluent in English communication both in writing and verbally
- Experience in project management and preferable a Project management education (e.g. Prince2, IPMA or similar)
- Experienced in negotiations and/or tendering
- Experienced in strategic work and communicating with senior management level.
- Ability to work independently and delivering in a timely manner
- Being able to handle setbacks in a positive way (learning from mistakes approach)
- Having a proactive approach and enthusiastic mindset

We will make sure you get access to developing a deep knowledge of the production processes and general sourcing processes to ensure the optimal solutions for supply both regarding costs, sustainability and supply risks.
This role gives a great exposure to many aspects of our business, which gives a good foundation for a hopefully long and developing career within ROCKWOOL. Travelling will be required in the role, as meeting stakeholders both at HQ and on-site is crucial for the successful collaboration.
The position could be located in either, Bridgend (UK), Cigacice (PL), Gladbeck (DE), Saint-Éloy-les-Mines (FR) or Vamdrup (DK).
