Your Future Team
Reporting to the HR Director, the HR Business Partner will work closely with stakeholders within assigned business areas, to collaborate on all aspects of HR and to support the departmental, OPCO and regional strategies and goals.
What you will be doing:
- Partnering with people leaders to understand strategic goals and provide HR support to help achieve them
- Attracting, retaining and developing employees with the right skills and competencies to meet business requirements
- Acting as a point of contact for managers and employees on HR-related queries, policies and procedures
- Managing complex employee relations cases, advising on best practice and legal compliance
- Supporting performance management processes including goal setting, performance reviews and development plans
- Coordinating local merit, bonus and succession planning processes
- Ensuring employee engagement is driven at a managerial level, including running the RockPulse process
- Building and maintaining productive relationships with union representatives to achieve resolution on people changes
- Overseeing compensation and benefits administration, ensuring competitive and equitable practices
- Driving employee engagement initiatives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Participating in and contributing to Group HR specialist groups and strategic projects
- Managing HR metrics and analytics to track performance and provide insights for decision-making
- Promoting and embedding HR as a valueâadding function, ensuring managers are equipped and competent across the full employee lifecycle
What you bring:
- Bachelor's degree level of education and/or qualified to CIPD Level 5 or above
- Proven HR experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable
- Strong knowledge and understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices
- Capability to work in a fastâpaced and varied role
- Proficiency using HR systems (preferably Workday)
