Role Overview: The Environmental Technician reports to the Environmental Manager and supports environmental performance and culture at ROCKWOOL UK.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualifications or degree in a science-based subject
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Effective planning and organisation skills
  • Laboratory or sampling experience (desirable)
  • Willingness to learn and develop

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sampling and analysing emissions to water and air
  • Conducting factory environmental inspections
  • Monitoring CEMs performance and resolving issues
  • Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment
  • Sampling raw and waste materials for analysis
  • Monitoring environmental data and maintaining spreadsheets
  • Reporting on environmental trends and energy usage
  • Investigating environmental issues and implementing solutions
  • Providing environmental training
