Your Future Team:
Reporting to the Head of Product Management, you will join a collaborative team where you will sit at the intersection of Product Management, Sales, Technical and Marketing Communications, acting as the critical link between product strategy, market insight and commercial execution.
What you will be doing:
- Developing differentiated product positioning across ROCKWOOL's portfolio with clear messaging frameworks that align global narratives with UK market needs.
- Leading UK go-to-market strategy for new products and portfolio initiatives, defining target audiences, value propositions, and launch strategies in collaboration with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams.
- Translating technical features into customer benefits by converting product performance characteristics into compelling, customer-focused value propositions.
- Building deep customer understanding across architects, specifiers, contractors, distributors, and merchants to inform strategy on needs, buying behaviours, and decision-making processes.
- Analysing market trends and competitor positioning to identify gaps and opportunities within the product portfolio and market approach.
- Developing product specification strategies that influence early-stage design decisions and ensure effective representation in BIM objects and specification tools.
- Creating demand generation materials including value arguments and support resources that drive specification-led demand and sales pull-through.
- Enabling sales teams with product narratives, battlecards, value proposition tools, and training programs to articulate product value effectively.
- Identifying new market opportunities and develop strategic partnerships that support specification growth, market penetration, and revenue generation.
- Monitoring launch performance and recommend actions to maximize market adoption and commercial outcomes.
- Defining success metrics for product marketing initiatives (specification rates, sales uptake, pipeline influence) and provide structured reporting on product performance and market feedback.
- Building stakeholder alignment with regional and global partners to ensure UK growth priorities support wider business objectives and long-term competitive positioning.
What you bring:
- Product marketing experience in construction, building materials, industrial, or technical sectors with proven ability to translate technical data into commercial messaging.
- Demonstrated experience developing value propositions and launch strategies for product portfolios.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and commercial functions, with ability to work with global product teams.
- Data-driven approach with capability to interpret market insights and performance metrics to inform strategy and decision-making.
- Sales enablement and digital ecosystem proficiency including experience supporting technical B2B sales teams and familiarity with BIM, specification tools, and construction digital platforms.
