Job Overview
As a Solution Consultant you will support sales at important customer pursuits by providing specific solution expertise in a defined geographical area.
You will provide pre‑sales services to both internal and external customers.
These services will focus on the deployment of Plex offerings.
You will ensure a thoughtful handover to our delivery organisation or System Integrators.
By doing so, you will help bring these engagements to a successful closure.
You have deep application, industry, product, technology or solution knowledge within one or more assigned areas (MES, ERP, Finite Scheduler, Production Monitoring).
You will report to the "Team Lead, Enterprise Software Solution Consultants".
Responsibilities
- Participate in account planning and sales strategy focusing on new customer acquisition and existing customer expansion.
- Advise Technology Consultants and sales team on proposal generation.
- Analyse our competition's products and define our differentiators, as part of a specific solution.
- Respond to RFIs and RFQs.
- Configure a complex product and services solution, and associated contractual terms, that meet the customer's mid‑to‑long‑term needs.
- Use domain expertise as a resource for internal partners and to advise customers on our products, solutions and services.
- Present qualitative and quantitative value of the proposed solutions, creating custom presentations and documents that state customer business problems and Rockwell solutions and benefits.
- Develop and implement a relationship management plan for potential customer accounts.
- Build a network of executives within the business sector to obtain market intelligence on industry trends and identify opportunities for expansion.
- Prepare technical materials, presentations and tools to improve sales team effectiveness.

Qualifications
- Bachelor in Engineering or another technical field.
- Knowledge in one or more manufacturing applications such as MES, QMS, and Cloud Technology.
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
- Ability to travel 30% of the time to customers (could be more in peaks).
- Experience in Enterprise Software, QMS and Pre‑Sales.
- Experience in technical presentations and collaborative engagement with both technical and business audiences.
- Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects (minimum 3 years).
- Experience in manufacturing processes, software industry experience, and knowledge of industry strategies.
- We do not request experience on Implementation Projects, but we consider it an added value.
- We do not request experience on OT level, but we consider it an added value.
